Write for mPAX

We want to cultivate more diverse perspectives in anti-hate/counter-extremism work by building both a network of researchers and a library of publications. We're looking for researchers, analysts, and experts from targeted communities to produce short, identity-informed insights on extremism in the United States. Pieces can be on any subject within the theme, but must be directly relevant to the author's identity.

Examples:

- Queer intelligence analyst writing about far-right presence at drag queen story hours across the country.
- Immigrant researcher writing about the dangers of "migrant voting" disinformation.

- Muslim activist writing about harmful surveillance practices within the US Intelligence Community.

Pieces should be 1500 to 2000 words and written for a broad audience. Authors will be compensated between $150 and $200 per piece. This call for pitches is rolling and will remain open as long as funding permits.

To pitch, send an email introducing yourself, your background/expertise, and a few sentences on your proposed topic to contact@m-pax.org

We recognize expertise comes in many forms. We are happy to see pitches from seasoned professionals, early-careerists, academics, non-academics, students, community-members, thought-leaders, etc. While experience matters, we believe traditional measures of expertise are a disservice to the full-inclusion of targeted communities in this space.
